Excellent use of words and ideas, I must admit.

Variantists, from T.R. Dawson to Betza to Gilman to Winther, must be like Vladimir Nabokov's gods and goddesses ''there they were, aloof and mute, playing a game of Worlds, promoting Pawns to ivory Unicorns and ebon Fauns'' in this one's third lead-in 'Pale Fire'.

In a Chess context, Morality XIV touches on philosophers and immortality of Kevin and

Aurelian dialogue in current Nextchess topic.

@Greg,

I don't understand what morality XIV means :(!

Greg Strong wrote on Mon, Apr 23, 2018 02:38 PM UTC:

"Morality" refers to doing good (as opposed to evil.)  XIV is the number 14 in Roman numerals.  George has chess poetry series of which this is the 14th edition.
