If nothing can move from one universe to another one, it is not a "dimension" at all. A dimension is something in which something may move in. Even in science fiction, Amber series for example, characters may move from one universe to another one.

Well, whatever and never mind if we can't agree with that. Here we are talking about chess, boardgames. 3D Chess has a meaning, it has an history. We can define it at large, for example qualifying Alice Chess of 3D Chess. That I will agree. But calling 3D Chess a simultaneous 4-board game without any interaction between the boards is exaggerating and misleading in my opinion.

I would advise a change of name.
