One minor quibble: you remove the Elephant, the eponymous Xiang, from the pieces but retain it in the name. As this brings the piece called Shi to the third file in, perhaps the game should be called Shi Qi.

Little mistake: there written '42 squares'. There are 42 playing spaces, not squares. By the way, it's intersting what original Xiang-qi have 64 squares (NOT playing spaces), like in chess. Why?
