Shatranj Extended Tournament Scoring (S.E.T.S) Rules. An attempt at an improved scoring system for chess tournaments. (8x8, Cells: 64) [All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]SETS is being proposed as a center point for discussion. The purpose of it isn't to try to ram it down the throats of the chess variants community, but offer it as something that could be considered. It may not be appropriate for all chess variants, and perhaps some rules can be changed. But, it would be suggested that, if the chess variants community will run multi-game Athlon type events, a common scoring system (like SETS) be developed in order to determine who won the tournament. SETS is a starting point for this discussion.
