Cold War Chess

I do not know why or where the idea first sparked but when it camed the idea of a cold war chess was born desing by me alone and tested by peope top. Cold war chess is a game for those who have expereinced in chess and know how to play well. This game is diffrent from how ever in here a game if its played right can took up 1-2 hours and believe me this game can get very fun over time so little historical backround. After world war 2 the west (america) and the east (soviet union). War bettwen the two never happend and this game try to show how it vent down. The Players will play as these massive empires try gain advantage over each other. But the rules are very much different but dont get head of our selfs. I reccomend listening some cold war music like in the game Twillight Struggle.

Pieces

The peices kind of work as the same but there are different ways on some of them which will be writin down in Rules, their name are diffrent though for exemple the horse is now the KGB (soviets) or the CIA (americans), The Rooks are the Red army and the American army, The Bishops are the Comecon and the Marshal plan, The Queens are the Warsaw pact and the Nato The pawns are countires of the eastern and the western block.

Rules

Now here is what makes this game cold war. In here there is no way to kill each other but you can kill with the king and the king can be killed by any piece. The pawns are also can move backwards. Any other piece can move as in the original game. There are two possibilites to win the game one is to reach the other side with the king or by killing the enemy king. Also there is no need to tell if the king is doing something "suicidal" let the paranoia take over you. This little change can drasticaly make the game a very long game. There might be situation when there both side need to agree upon something then the two side can talk about what they want move this piece to somewhere else for exemple this will take one turn the other turn the one executes the agreement (or not) then the other one. If the agreement is broken by sombody not doing what the other wanted then its your choice to believe if next time is true or not. So beware if sombody is bluffing or not.

Notes

Be aware again that this game takes a long time so try to play it when you have long time to play it. Sometimes there might be no way to advance, and you need to make an agreement to do it be aware too that there might be an iron border too try to avoid it and gain the upper hand! Good luck commander!
