This is a rules file for Zillions of Games, a Windows program that will let you play any puzzle or strategy board game you can feed it the rules to. With Zillions-of-Games installed, this rules file will let you play this game against your computer.

The idea of this variant is to make a new game without directly disposing the large heritage of the classical  Chess game. All rules of orthodox Chess are kept. Castling is not allowed. Pawns can promote only in the final rank. The purpose was to design optimal symmetrical setup with maximum of the most popular in the West  Chess pieces. Setup is a mirror image symmetry and a central symmetry, pieces density 42%, 3x2 simple move pieces (Rook, Bishop, Knight), 3x1 Complex move pieces (Queen, Centaur, Champion) and 1x1 super complex move piece Amazon, and the King. Pieces set is complete with all combinations of the moves of the light pieces, three consistently located squares has been differently filled. The 9 different pieces participate in this game. Amazon - it is a very powerful piece, capable of giving mate by itself.The Centaur and the Champion (the Classical Extra Pieces) was known already in the 17th century. D.Pietro Carrera used this piece in his variant Carrera's Chess. He wrote a long book on chess, called 'Il Gioco delgi Scacchi', and published it in 1617 in Miltello in Sicily. The game well balanced. Two diagonal power lines (Bishop and Centaur) symmetric to another two diagonal power lines (Queen and Bishop). All straight power lines are well directed on flanks (Rooks) and to the central squares (Champion and Queen). The set up without Amazon was invented by Christian Freeling with some non classical chess rules.
