The Game
The game played was Flip Shogi. As specified in the rules, and unless stated otherwise, the standard variant of the game was played with no special rules in effect.

I liked Flip Shogi a lot. Pawns are the weak points in the rules. My third move was nice, as it prevented Rob from doing anything with his Ferz. In the end, I feared a *Nf3, so kept on giving check, which worked out quite well.
