I've written a piececlopedia myself about the Unicorn (nightrider-bishop compound) and that got accepted, so you writing an article about the ferfil should be possible too
woudn't it be a idea for bent riders to use > or <. (example Gryphon would be F>R)
Another piece I wonder if it ever was used is Nao
It does have one in the comments
Wouldn't it be a great idea if there were a website similar to this, but also with information about draughts, Lines of Action and go etc, (and variants)?
Today I thought of a piece combining the snake with a Vertical rook, that would feel very nice
No, it would immobilize similarly to the Withdrawer
It would stop immobilizing when it is no longer a queen's move away from that piece

what about a piece I recently read about that moves like reflecting bishop, but that must make at least one reflection?
This basically is similar to the Korean Cannon (there BTW should be Korean piece pages too)
This piece has also been called a Cao, probably the C coming from cavalry
I once read a comment by HG Muller avout how this piece van reach every square bishops can reach that are orthogonally next to it. But where is that Comment?
(the comment search is broken)
About piece names: F-then-DD is used in one of David Paulowich's games, with a compound with rook too (Spotted Gryphon and Chainsaw). I recently thought of a F-then-W-then-DD piece. About Man-and-Beast, those definitely deserve a rework
Is anyone interested?
such a piece also exists with the Sweeping Switchers

A nightrider variant of this could be called Noctima
