That I can detect:

  • Individual icons by the piece names (you're generally pretty good about this, so I figure you're still getting them ready)
  • When forming a "conglomerate of adjacent pieces," does diagonal count as "adjacent"?
  • Having both a "Draughts King" and a "Chess King" when discussing "the King" later on is confusing. Just call the former piece Dama. You might also relate it to the very similar Long Leaper, and explain how they're different (Dama is limited to 3 captures).

This would be fun to try. I love the idea of using Lines of Action pieces in Chess. Did you consider having the Liners start on the opposite side of the board to make a true LoA winning condition (uniting your own pieces) possible?
