On such a wide board the Rook is too far away for castling. Too many pieces have to be moved out of the way while being under attack. I would have included some non capturing pieces that could protect the King.

Re-read to see the special castling rules I use - known as Fast Castling since I first used them in my Wide Chess CV invention several years back.
