I've been investigating hexagonal chess variants for a while, but I couldn't find one that I really liked. They all seem to be the same. I don't want to sound too arrogant, but I believe that my unpublished BuzzyBees is still the best hexagonal chess variant so far.

Have you seen Heroes Hexagonal Chess or my attempt? You might find those less samey.
