As a teaching game this has potential.  The pawns can't support each other so it's very unlikely that they will promote.  I'd love to see a game log of two players.

IMO this will only be useful for scaring people away from Chess. With so many Queens the game will be tactical beyond Human comprehension. It is orders of magnitude more complex than orthodox Chess.

I doubt very much that it is more complex than standard chess. The queens need only to watch out for pawns, and most of the queens will soon be exchanged. There is nothing to fear in this game - no knight forks! Just strengthen your position and exchange queens. That's the only thing you can do.

I don't see the complexity of this being more complicated than Checkers/Draughts personally.
