Nice pics! I actually own this game, and my impression was the swirliness was there due to cheap manufacturing techniques. I haven't dug mine out, but I believe you would find the swirls are due to the waves of liquid plastic flowing into the mould, and are radial to the sprue, where it flows in.
what's a site that u can play omnigon online?
as far as i know, there is no site to play omnigon online. in fact, at the time i wrote the review (august 2002), a search for any omnigon webpage produced zero matches, altho i think fun agian games might sell it.
This a wonderful game. I really really love it! Its good for people who like to play games like chess, but don't feel like putting in the time commitment or as much brain power. Great Game!
Jared, Michael: I expect the final version to evaluate it, no rating until I see the modified game, but my first impression is favorable to the changes. I tested Ryu Shogi, I like the game but some of the observations are acerted and good ones. Jared: Don't try the game on a bigger board, the average number of moves to finish a well played game is actually around 150-180, if the size is incremented, this number is going up, very probably. Good luck.
Do you know a website where the rules of Omnigon can be found?
I've seen that 'swirly' plastic before, in other products. It's not a defect; it's deliberate. AIUI it's supposed to look 'marbled'.
