On a cubic-cell board there are three types of Crowned Bishop depending on whether the short-range moves added are in the Rook's directions, the Unicorn's, or both. In my now-posted Tunnelshogi the first two appear as alternative promotions for the Bishop on reaching the enemy camp, and the last as a further promotion should either return to its own camp.
A position from a Yusupov endgame with a black queen changed into a BishopKing and an added black bishop. White- Qg3 Kh1 Pg2,h3 Black- Re5 BKd6 Bc7 1...Re1+ 2.Qxe1 BKh2 mate. Black used his rook to remove the guard, then followed up with a 'double bishop' mate.
there are two kinds of crowned radial linepieces in the second dimension king which moves like a rook or one diagonally or the dragon horse moves as bishop or one orthogonally. in the third dimension the crowned line pieces gain the the third dimensional direction move and now in the third dimension there is the dragon unicorn which either slides triagonally or moves as a three dimensional king
