you don't have enough information on the rules of chess and you don't have the roles that every piece in the chess play

Personally I think the previous people who commented, while technically correct, missed a point. I found this site quite helpful to my 9 year old niece. She is learning to play for the first time and just needs some very basic guidelines to get started. So I for one thought these pages were an excellent starter tutorial.
