The Last Mourning

I have used FIDE pieces with two exeptions:

  1. Pawns can move only one square and promote when they reach the end of any column.
  2. The Jester. The Jester, being the clown that he is, mocks the piece that you have moved on your last turn. Hence, if moved a knight on your previous turn, the Jester can move as a knight. If you wish to move a Jester once and then on the next turn, then he moves in the same manner as on the previos turn.

I thought that a lot of strong pieces in a small area would allow for some fairly strong tactical warfare. I have ran a few tests of this game and it seems to call for very precise play. I also put the king in the front lines. I was going to place him in the back, but I decided that if he was going to live he was going to have to work for it.
