Russian progressive chess
In a complete set of progressive chess variants I offer to include this variation.
Rules:
The game uses the rules of English progressive chess with the following changes:
- White begins the game. The quantity of moves in each turn is increased and corresponds to the number of a turn. In each odd turn the last move in a series is done by moving a piece from the opponent.

- It is possible to give check at any point during a player's turn. After having given check, the turn of a player ends, and the opponent may then move.
- When one is in check at the start of a turn, one must remove the check in the first move in a series.
- It is allowed to put ones king in check, but such a check should be removed by the end of a series.
- In a series of moves each move should be carried out by a new piece.
- The movement of an enemy piece at the end of a series should not give check to both ones own king and the king of the opponent.
