Elena Chess
S. Sirotkin from Russia sent in January 2000 an email with this variant. Before the new year (at the end of December 1999) my daughter and I (five years old) have begun to play this minivariant.
Rules
The game is played on a board 5 by 6 of squares. Each player has - 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Rook, 1 Knight, 1 Bishop, 5 Pawns.
The game is played as orthodox chess, but with the following changes to its rules:
- No castling
- A pawn cannot make a double step.
It is similar to other minivariants, but here the king and queen are rearranged.
