Doubles Chess was once a commercial Chess variant sold by Doubles Chess Partnership Ltd, a.k.a. DCP LTD of Mountain View California.

The company no longer appears to be around, but archive.org includes their page describing the rules of this game.
Each player has the usual Chess pieces, which are colored white, red, black, and green.
