Little Rider Reef
By Gerd P. Degens
The game requires an 11 x 11 board. There are only 'riders' (night-, cardinal-, chancellor-, amazon-, zebracamelrider) in the game - besides pawns and king, of course. There is a barrier on rank 6 that must be overcome.
Setup
Pieces
Night-, cardinal-, chancellor-, amazon- and zebracamelrider as well as king and pawns. For details see the rules section.
Rules
Except for the following changes, the Fide rules apply.
There is no capturing en passant. Castling and promotion of pawns are part of the game.
Bare king loses. Stalemate is a win.
