Future Chess, played on the Gustavian board with extra empty corner squares. Players are allowed to relocate the pieces before play begins. Castling rules follow Chess960, however with an extra option of jumping one square farther toward the corner, to take control of the extra corner square.

These rules create an immense strategical variance. In addition to the opening variance the extra corner squares serve as sanctuaries for the king, which makes play on the same wing easier to achieve. This allows an enormous number of new opening and middle game strategies.
A Zillions program and more information is here.
