The FA
The FA (which can be called the "Falafel" if you're hungry) combines the powers of Ferz and Alfil. For example, from e4 this piece can go to d5, f5, f3, d3, c6, g6, g2, or c2.This is a colorbound short-range jumping piece that is fairly close in value to the FIDE Knight, but presumably a little bit weaker; In fact, it's just a short-range Bishop that can jump over obstacles; and it is a bit surprising to find that it is hardly weaker than a Knight.
The Pawnless endgame of K plus two FA (on different colors) versus King is probably a win.
