Leapers Chess. Played upon a 10x10 field with all the pieces having leaping capability.[All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]The ArchDeacon has the combined movement of the bishop and the dabbabah, so it is identical to the Bede (or BD) in Ralph Betza's 'Colorbound Clobberers' army. In my [2005-02-25] comment to Peter Aronson's 'White Elephant Chess' I proposed the name Mastodon for the combination of a Rook and a Bede. Just a thought: we could call the Tower a Raffle, as Ralph already uses Waffle for a piece moving like a Wazir or an Alfil.
