'The Wazir was a piece that already appeared in some very early variants of chess, like the about 600 years old Tamerlane chess' - but besides Tamerlane chess i know only 1 historical game with that piece - Courier chess (plus guard in Korean chess and angry boar in shogi variants, but i suppose, they was not implied).
