Nicholas, sorry if the articles intimidate you, that's the exact opposite of what I intended. Can you suggest anything that I can do to make them seem less intimidating? The series was supposed to be something to which anyone should feel welcome to make constructive suggestions, and on which anyone devising a good piece should except to see the piece honoured. Arrow, Bat, Falcon, Fox, Golddragon, Proselyte, Rhino, Scientist, Silverdragon, and Wolf are creations of other contributors to the site, who are duly credited. Goum is uncredited only because it was suggested anonymously. The odd name is commissioned, such as Nightswitcher (a Nightrider having to make an odd number of leaps). Wherever I find such a name unsatisfactory I explain why: Aanca (for a piece other than the Gryphon) because it's the name of the Gryphon piece itself in its original language, Quintessence because it's too hard to extrapolate from, et cetera. If someone posts a comment that a name is positively offensive, I will endeavour to find a replacement, but I cannot recall having had such a comment yet.
