Pagan Chess. Game with two linked board, one for living pieces and one for dead pieces, and a special piece that can move between them. (11x7, Cells: 67) [All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]Thank you Mickey for this excellent varient! I've been looking for a method by which to combine Steve Jackson's Knightmare Chess and Proteus. Pagan Chess works wonderfully. I've kept the movement of the pieces as standard, but with the King/Pyramid retaining its SJ abilities, the Pawn in the initial rank is replaced with a Knight at start, and I use the Proteus victory conditions.
