Sonic the Hedgehog Chess
In Sonic the Hedgehog Chess, pieces use a spindash attack to capture enemy pieces. If the capturing piece is a ranged piece (rook/bishop/queen Pawns and Kings are Ordinary Slow-Mos), instead of displacing the enemy, the capturing piece bounces off and moves in the opposite direction until it reaches another piece or the edge of the board. If the capturing piece reaches a friendly piece or the edge of the board, it stops. If it reaches an enemy piece, it captures it and bounces off again. Thus a piece surrounded by enemy pieces in a line can take them all out in one move.
