Pieces
Chancellor ("<>") are rook + knight compounds.
Sergeants ("$") function as in Wolf Chess.
Rooks are rook + fers compounds.
Bishops are bishop + wazir compounds.
(Possibly the players could agree on whether the knights can capture by displacement, or whether they won't be able to capture enemy agents at all?)
Rules
Change of rules:
Pawns and sergeants promote to knights or rooks (option is open every promotion). This happens on the eighth rank.
There is no king, and there is neither check nor mate. The player who first clears the board of his/her opponent's knights wins the game.
In addition to the usual form of movement, bishops can move (and take out enemy agents) 1 step orthogonally in any of the four directions. In other words, they are crowned bishops.
In addition to the usual form of movement, rooks can move (and take out enemy agents) 1 step diagonally in any of the four directions. In other words, they are crowned rooks.
There is no castling move.
