Rules
The rules are the same as regular Chess for the Chess side. The Shogi pieces (lance, horse, silver general and gold general) promote on the fourth rank. Pawns can promote to a Rook, a Knight, a Bishop, a Queen, a Silver General, or a Gold General. The Lance cannot castle. Pawns attack and move the same way that they do in Orthochess.
