Dynasty Chess

In this game, Bishops and Rooks are renamed Princesses and Princes, and are assumed to have inherited traits from their parents, in the form of extended moves.

Setup

The board is set up exactly as in traditional chess.

Pieces

Bishops are referred to as Princesses. As well as a traditional Bishop's move, they can also instead move one square horizontally or vertically. Rooks are referred to as Princes. As well as a traditional Rook's move, they can instead move one square diagonally.

Rules

The game has not yet been trialled, and no additional new rules have been formulated.
