Person Information

Born January 13, 1944 in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, he wrote and published the book Chess Variations: Ancient, Regional, and Modern in 1968. He worked as a sales and guard supervisor at Kilgrore Detective agency; prior to that, he was the City Editor for the Geneva Free Press. He collected many chess and military-type games. He died on August 24th, 1999. Prior to his passing, he was working on a second book of chess variations. He was legally blind, yet he played chess at a very high level.
