What was new in September 1998?

• End of September, beginning October: I bought a new computer, after the previous one broke down. I'm still installing new software, changing to FAT-32 partitions, etc. and fewer updates can be expected in these days.
• September 21, 1998: New version (2.1) of Shocky is out. Shocky is a freeware strong shogi program by Pauli Misikangas. With a link to PM²Shocky, running Shocky with a nice interface, made by Pieter Moerman.

• September 17, 1998: N-Knights. Try to put as many or few knights on a chess board. Freeware program. (Link.)
